How is this different from locum work?
You hold planned, recurring sessions across the maternity pathway. You work with supervision and a development pathway. These are not disconnected fill-in shifts. The intent is a stable role you can grow in.
What is the profile you are looking for?
An MO or GP with experience in obstetrics and gynaecology. A Diploma in O&G and small-procedure capability are preferred. The role suits sessional work and supporting labour-ward call for complex deliveries and routine caesareans under specialist supervision.
